After a Month
While Rajat was opening a new box of dresses; he saw Payal marching towards his showroom. Not again! What else this girl wants now!
P: Hi Rajat. Do you have 10 mins. I want to talk to you now.
R: Hmm…bolo.
P; Hey dude…am so sorry for that day’s episode. I overreacted then. Actually that day I had a fight at office and I had a heated argument with my boss. You were right. There was no defect in that dress. It was so beautiful. It fitted me so well. Probably the laundry man used a fabricated statement as he was not able to do his job properly. I know you man. You can’t be dishonest. Hey…today I have carried the entire 4k. No no, I will pay you 4.5k as it’s a new business set-up for you. How can you sell an item without any profit? Hey Rajat…where is my dress, am missing it everyday. Please give it to me.
R: Payal…the day you returned it to me, I put the same on a mannequin and I was bit sceptic about putting a 5k price tag on it. It should not be 5k as no longer it’s a fresh piece and you complained that it was a defective piece too. So I had decided to put 4k instead of 5k. Just before even I could put a tag on the same, a young lady came in to my showroom and she said “wow! Since I have seen a lady wearing a similar type of dress at a party, I have been searching the entire market for this. Finally I got it. Anyway, how much is the price…am sure it must be around 10k, isn’t it?”
R: Yes mam, it’s 10k.
That lady happily paid 10k and thanked me for providing her the outfit which she was searching for.
P: Oh no… don’t you have a similar piece at your store?
Rajat smiled and said “That was a master piece”
N.B: Usually Rajats face lots of obstacles, challenges; but at the end of the day they are rewarded and placed amidst the bunch of happier folks coz they are honest in life.
Payals are never satisfied with life. You give them the best and yet they doubt the integrity and complain… this saga continues throughout. They are not bad…not at all; indeed at times they are superb; but they are indecisive folks who fluctuate a lot. Occasionally they forget one of the fundamentals, i.e. “We don’t know what we have until we lose it”…they realise it, but sometimes it’s too late.
